Well, the landscape's looking a little different 'round here the last few days. There's alot more pics I'll post when I have more time, but these will give an idea of what we've been doing. This deal took the better part of 3 months to put together, and I'm sure glad it's done.

A Pair of the New Beauties. Ironically enough, the back one is the 12yr old Momma, and in front is her 8yr old daughter.

Blackjack, one of the new Galloway bulls we bought to accomodate all the new ladies. He's 4, coming 5, and probably one of the bigger Galloway bulls I've seen. Not real tall by any means, but he's a tank. I'd guess him @ 2400lbs.

Sorry about the fuzzy pics on some of 'em. Better ones to come as I have time. Heading out early tomorrow to look at more bulls. Need to get them bought and wrapped up so I can slow down and just focus on grazing plans, feeding cows, and of course....kids. Have a good one all.

Sorry Nicky!! Forgot about that! It went really well. Total average was about $2470 on 39 bulls, we got $850 for our Galloway sired bred heifers, so we were all pretty darn happy. It was a fun day.

Sounds good, glad it went well :!:

Pure, I LIKE THAT BULL!!!!!!!! Now, if you could just add 6" to his legs and make him a frame seven or eight, you'd really have something.  Good cows too...look for your next bulls out of those old mama cows!

Is that windrowed hay in some of the pictures?
