This is all I have to show for this summer. If it don't start raining it will be sell cows or buy hay.

Are you selling cows or hay, Jersey Lilly? :P

If it is cows, gosh, I didn't realize it was that bad there.
Interesting that the way our country looks, we'll be fine, barring
fire. And as good as yours looks to us, you have to sell cattle?

This business is so interesting. Never a dull moment.

Ya I here ya. It looks like a stack and a half more than we go put up.
0 bales on 500 acres of hayground. Something just don't add up here. Good thing we have some carry over.

Cows. and will probably pull some of the calves early. We've got about half the hay we normally get. And that's no where near enuff. Still hopin on gettin some rain, got a lil bit last night around 1am thunder and lightnin. Hopin we get a good rain soon, that'll help out the grass in the pasture, and the hay fields as well. But it's to the point we can't just keep hopin, gotta git some of the cows off of it while there's still some grass left.

We are lucky I suppose, we have had good rains and have plenty of hay baled and on our 3rd cutting starting this week. Granted, on some of the fields we are not getting the usual, but not as drastic as you Alabama. I have really tried to send you some of this rain we have been getting. It starts your way, not sure what happens or who is sucking it up before it gets there. Weird that I am only a little over an hour from Lilly and we have had the rains that has kept us going. Cows are not hurting by any means. Right now it is dry and could do with some, and looks like we might get some by the weekend.

Good luck and I do wish you some of the WET STUFF SOON Alabama!!
