Managed to get home last weekend. Here are some quick photos I took.

For the first time since 1999, the water has reached the bottom of the bridge:

The Fields - you can see a few of the places where the creek used to run are flooded again:

Question: What affect does such flooding have on the quality of the hay?
I imagine the hay would initially be less nutritious...but that there would be more silt deposited from the creek - and perhaps result in more fertile soil?
 
Whoa - lotsa water. It seems that in years of a lot of rain and little sun that the hay is lacking in vitamins. It seems to me that if it takes sunlight for photosynthesis that the sugars would be lower too. Just my guess.
