Now I'm curious. They have all that green lush grass, yet they
are trying to eat what looks to be dry. :???:

I have been learning a lot about how important dry matter is
to cattle. Maybe this is more proof of that. Lush grass has everything
a cow needs EXCEPT dry matter. Interesting.

The top pics are at a neighbors place and They get a little treat once a week to keep them coming up it is corn and soybean hull pellets and corn gluten less than 5 gal bucket. Just took pics of them.

The bottom pic is a home bred cow I raised. She will go out to pasture soon.
