Juneberries (or Saskatoons as you call them) are my favorite, and haven't had any in a few years. Haven't seen any chokecherries either! :(
Currant's and plums seem to be here though.

But we do have hay, 1,000 T and still going! Not today, though, it's drizzling! :D
 
My chokecherry trees are bare this year- I think it was the late frosts we got...I even noticed a couple of the trees in the area that have apparently frozen the tops- with the bottoms leafed out- but the tops bare....
 
I got enough Saskatoons off my trees at home for a couple pies...before the birds snagged all the berries,and my chokecherry trees are full,so should have a lot for jelly and syrup...yummm.
