Thought it time to share some scenery from my neck of the woods. Have been enjoying everyone else's for quite some time.

I will have more pictures to follow as time allows. Look forward to constructive criticism. Thanks, capt.

Way to make a first impression CAPT!
Great pictures of some gorgeous country! What part of Colorado do ya roam at? THANKS for the pictures! Can't wait to get to know ya on this crazy and amazing website!

Thanks H, Have worked all over the state but the south central front range is home to me. The pull of these mountains will not let go for too long. It is has been a summer like we haven't seen for a long long time and sure makes it nice when the grass is green and deep. You live in a beautiful area as well as one that can show its beauty one day and the next the not so nice side.

Very nice pictures and welcome aboard. :cboy:

In your aerial photo...those look like the Spanish Peaks with the lava dykes flowing out below....just a guess though, I've never seen 'em from the air.

Great photos and pretty country. Welcome and keep posting those good photos. I think I can say for most everyone, we enjoyed them.

Welcome Capt :D . You live in beautiful country, and your cattle look really nice. The fawn under the tree pic was my favorite, but all shots were great... I see we're not the only ones who use trees for fence posts  .

Nice pictures Capt. I'm amazed how well the one from out of the airplane turned out. I'm a little slow getting motivated to go feed here this morning, it's -6 F outside. Clear as a bell and cold as hell :D .

Constructive criticism? The only criticism I have is that I´m not there. :?

Beautiful country and beautiful cattle. Post more.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I hope I don't miss any questions here.
Those are the Spanish Peaks in the aerial shot. Taken with a little fujifilm digital camera. I am amazed myself they came out that clear through a dirty airplane window from about 18,000 feet.
When I came across the fawn, I immediately had the feeling that I was being watched, so I slowly turned around and lo and behold right above me . . .

Why isn't it ever the big buck or bull watching?!

Will have to download some more to post here sometime.

Thanks again,
capt
