I used to ride a little bay called stubby. I was 8-10 years old, as was he, and he seemed to understand the bovine world a lot better than I. He taught me a lot about headind cattle or getting them out of the brush. I got skinned up some, but we got cattle off the mountain. Stubby was a good little horse (but I was an onery little urchin)!!!
