Great pictures, RSL. You have a wonderful family. That Medora Musical is fun to attend. I've had the pleasure of seeing it twice in the past twelve years.

Great photo's. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me it has been WAY too long ago that we went to Medora and the pageant.

Did you do any preparation to that wagon to protect it from moisture before planting in it? We have several here, but NO WAY would I dare plant anything in them that might contribute to rotting out the box!!!
And needing the space they occupy in the shop for rubber tired, necessary vehicles for the ranch doesn't increase my chances, either.

I am thinking of lining one with heavy duty plastic so the wood could have a chance to dry out instead of being continuously damp. Wonder if that would help, or not?

The ND Badlands are great! Quite different than the SD ones. Maybe less spectacular or extreme, but better water with that wonderful river and some creeks, as I recall when we drove through them from Medora to the north end, on some 'roads' we were not really supposed to travel in a station wagon! See, it was a long time ago, back when station wagons were popular, before SUV's took over!!
