Women are doing things nowadays that have traditionaly been done by men.
I think that is great, but there's just some things it don't seem like a woman should be doing.

WOMAN POWER

Now, there's a crazy phenomenon a'sweepin' this old land,
Women wantin' to do the things,
always been done by a man.

I s'pose Miz Anthony started it,
raisin' a ruckus long time ago.
Women ain't been contented
just to cook and sew.

Now they're doctorin' an lawyerin',
cheifin', an' climbin poles,
Feedin' cattle, an' fixin' fence,
even diggin' the holes.

We've sit and watched it happen,
so I reckon we're partly to blame.
I've seen female riders
who could put most men to shame.

Since this deal got started,
women are bound to have their way.
And I learned long ago,
they're sure gonna have their say.

And though I might be slow,
latchin' onto ideas new,
I can handle change,
long as I know change is due.

But when Doc Sue gelded a colt,
it shot my idea of feminism.
That sad day my masculinity
slipped a bit with his'n.

Man's domain has shrunk,
Like preg checkin' cows for culls.
But Lord, I can't stand to watch'm
fertility testin' bulls.

The one and only time I watched a bull being semen checked, even I had to cringe! Can't imagine what a man does when he's standing on the sideline taking it all in. Oh wait! Yes, I can!

We test a few hundred bulls a year at the clinic I work for. You do get used to it after a while, though I've seen some owners who sure looked like they'd rather not be there!

We try and keep things comfortable for the bull so the owner survives. :D :D

Done right, it's not a big deal.

Im always on the fly swatting end. Once had a vet crank up the juice while I was plugging in the probe and I became the short circuit. YOWEE :help:

Had a guy open the head gate early at the community pasture and let a bull out with the prob still inserted-that got fairly interesting lol.
