Sorry, but the Mildcat game turned out about the way I expected it to. There's no way those teams should of been paired in a bowl. Rutgers was a play away from playing in a BCS game, and they put them with a 7-5 team?

Another mismatch that shouldn't of happened; Texas and Iowa.

well, it was not as close as I had hoped for, but kinda knew the outcome would be a loss.

Rutgers is a team that had no reason to be playing a KSU team which really backed into a bowl game.

Freeman is a stud....he will be great, just let him get another year under his belt.....

you guys better watch out, I think Auburn has a bucket of whoop ash they will pour all over NU.

did you notice the Cotton Bowl still has tickets left??? what happened to this great fan base???

I will hold my smack until mid afternoon on Jan. 1 .....I think NU will hang with them closer than we did with Rutgers, but I for see the same outcome.

looks like the Big 12 has little pull this year.
 
oh well, I am just gonna go take a nap in my sanctuary.......

We'll still have 15 - 20K in the stands. Nobody is real excited about Dallas. Big cities don't impress us, and there's really nothing to do in Dallas that you can't do in Omaha - and it's cheaper in Omaha. You factor in high priced hotel rooms, a game starting in the middle of the morning, and iffy weather and a lot of folks just decided they would stay home and catch it on TV.

I think the Huskers will make a good showing. We still don't have a healthy running back among the 4. The coaches were trying out one of our D-backs at running back - that's never a good sign right before your bowl game. Our top two O linemen are questionable. Also, it sounds like Auburn is getting healthy. Still, we've got a good QB and our D-line and linebackers are as good as any.
 
Bajeepers, I came to talk about KSU and look what happens, all of a sudden tis raunchy.... Dad was right, theyre a baaad team ;)

last time KSU went to the Cotton, I could not even get excited about the game, too early, to hung over, it just is a bad time slot for football.....
