I find all these rankings and " national signing day" very annoying. All it is is a bunch of punk high school kids that are very good at sports and not much else and want to make a big production on espn. Most of them are always overrated cause they play against kids that are going to be doing anything else in life except play sports.

Most of these kids will end their sporting career in college as well. Actually there have been a huge number of "jocks" become very successful businessmen, executives and company owners over the years. Hard to lump them all into one big pile.

Not the kids that make a big production with three different schools hats on espn. They've had people telling them they're the best ever since they were freshman in high school and they believe it

I agree with you, if we put the pride and gratification behind the "mathletes" and science fair, that we do behind the sports, the USA would not be so far behind in education stats among the world....

I love football, but these kids are treated like kings once they are discovered to be athletes.... making 5 million a year in the NFL to PLAY a GAME.... soldiers, who are just as physically fit, make a crappy wage, RISKING THEIR LIVES !!!!

reality check soon please.

And they are or they wouldn't be in the spotlight. But college ball will still be the end for 99% of them.
