The big oil companies are now posting their quarterly profits. To try to get you to not notice how much higher they are than last year, they've stepped up their advertising. It won't work with me, but, sadly, I fear there will be people on this board who will continue to defend them.

And tomorrow, analysts expect Exxon Mobil Corp. to show that it earned nearly $9 billion over the past three months -- the largest corporate quarterly profit ever."
