I've been looking forward to your branding pictures all day! Thanks for taking time to post them . Your calves look great, and I really like the size of your crew. It also looks like your grass is starting to take off... ours is still covered in 8 inches of snow on the level.

Looks like you have had a busy couple of days. Looks like lots of fun and hard work. It brings back memories of when my grandpa was alive and I helped with branding. At least the weather cooperated

What kind of rope holder is that?
From what I see it certainly cuts down on the crew required to process calves...
Any problems cutting calves when they are hanging like that??

Let's see missing your finger and hindering you from doing the work you were trained for? That must be worth some disability pay. I'd get right down to the social security office and apply.

Told my wife I qualified for old age social security and she didn't believe me. Told her: "I ripped open my shirt and the lady there saw all that gray hair on my chest and that was good enough proof for her" My wife snorted "Should of dropped your pants, we could have gotten disability too".
