It is fall and all those little black spiders spin that long stand and go floating off to new homes. If you riding a horse in the meadows or mountains and have a felt hat it will be a grey mass of spider silk by evening.
Went down into the meadow early this morning the tall reeds canary grass along the ditches shimmered with spider silk and dew. My camera on the pickup seat came up to focus only to have the low battery light come on.
