spittin mad

nr. I'm supposing your reason is the real reason behing the signature,my problam with that is a woman or man staying with a person he or she doesn't trust enough to have a gun. Another point was indirectly brought up by Angus...parents that are not together...think mom or dad will sign that piece of paper, somtimes "no" as a get back at you thing. No matter this Canadian gun registry is a total farce that has not stopped any gun killings at all. Criminals don't register there guns  :!:

I hear you, Mrs Greg, and agree it is strange when a gal stays with a dangerous abusive man. Some just don't have the ego strength or resources to let go, break free and launch into the unknown even when folks extend a helping hand to them. I've heard some are too ashamed that they have the problem to admit it. Either way it is terribly sad and crippling.

We got it in the mail today.... mom didi sign it, as long as we only have the rifles for hunting season, then dad's gets sent somewhere that he doesnt jknow (neither does she) but I get to keep my rifle, a .22, and our shotgun at the farm for varmint control, goose hunting, and the spring bear hunt I want to go on... and target practice. We have the guns locked up. Now dad has the key, and grandpa has the spare, but later when dads gun gets shipped till next july I have the key for the cabinet and grandpa has the keys for the rifle and shotgun.... the .22 I have a key for, and I know where grandpa has my rifle key in the case I cant get close enough to the trouble makin coyote.

We got it worked out, but as soon as the lawyers have it worked out, then Dad doesnt need moms signature on there to renew the licenses. Till then I have the cabinet key, grandpa has the other, he has the rifle keys (trigger locks are manditory) and dad doesnt have his rifle here until hunting season starts again, or until a bear hunt. Too bad things diddnt get sorted out better at the beginning  :x

So are the libs up there giving the Homo couples a pass on this? Sounds like possible discrimination to me.

I cant say that is the case cal. From what I now understand an application must be signed by your "partner" regardless of sex.
