actually it's getting green now-(which as you know is a relative color )-we've had an unusually cool May --and we have old grass ---also not normal --- those pics are a week to a month old --be a whole different look now. I'll get some "fresh" ones this weekend.

Well Capistrano has their birds and Carrizozo has theirs---
seriously, every may the Turkey Buzzards return from wherever they were --even used to have some entertainment event here with a rodeo, horseshoe pitching etc....called BUZZARD DAYS --
