Steer wrestling wreck

Help Support Ranchers.net:

Thanks for letting us know more LB.
Clint needs to slow down and let his body have the time to heal. You just don't jump up and take off running after major surgery.
Tell them girls to be careful fighting fire.
Glad to know the neighbors are there helping out and watching over them.

Sure hope things get better and the stress level gets lower for them.

LB, how about an update? We wish Clint and his family only the best from now on. We have precious memories of some of his family members, whom we have known over the years.

Clint got the dressings off his eye last Tuesday by an eye surgeon in Sioux Falls and after more tests last Wednesday he was released from the hospital. Clint and his mom spent a couple days in Sioux Falls with his aunt who is a nurse and when the doctors said he could go home they left immediately and were home on the ranch Wednesday night.

The surgeon used a new procedure and installed an artificial eye made of coral, which is a substance that the body treats much the same as bone and won't reject. In six to eight weeks Clint will go back to Sioux Falls to get the realistic lens cap put over the coral prosthetic eye and should be good to go.

Clint's feels pretty good most of the time, except that he says he wishes that the doctors would have rounded off the corners of that coral eye before they implanted it because that gives him quite a little pain.

His dad flew him out to Wyoming to spend a couple weeks with friends because they were having a hard time keeping him from trying to work. He's not real good about sitting around, so this was a good move.

Thanks so much for your prayers.
