Just a reminder that if anyone is bored or froze out- the Stevenson Basin Angus sale is on Superior on RFD TV today and the next 2 days....Started at 11AM MST today and 9AM tomorrow....

I used to go down to their sale when Doug was still alive-alot of good cattle sold back then in a short time. Had soime fun times in the Hobson bar too lol.

Yeah talk about Alzeimer's kicking in-I'll never forget the first time I met Wayne I askled if they had any daughters handy off this one bull and he showede me a pasture with about 100 half sisters off him. Wayne in my opinion was the cowboy in that outfit-he always had time to visit with a hick from the sticks.

Its getting so you can almost look at whenever Stevensons are going to have a sale and figure Montana is in for a snowstorm :roll: :lol: Good thing they have it on the video now- because I know of a couple of local fellas that were going to go, that cancelled because of the storm...
Its snowing, blowing, drifting- visibility was about 1/4 mile for awhile this morning...Now the snow has let up a little but the temp is dropping- down to 3 Below and with the 30-35 mph wind we're getting the chillfactor is 30-40 below.....
I got the heifers fed- stuck a big roast in the crock pot - and now its looking like a good day to just watch the sale on TV...Might just have to have a hot toddy or two this afternoon to keep me warm :wink: :lol:

Yea thats nearly 8 million,, but there were also nearly 5000 head sold.
