Strange behavior

With the rains coming back our grass is recovering. :D Almost a spring flush - - - no rain to speak of for almost 90 days then 7" and 90F temps for the last 3 to 4 weeks and the grass is really coming on like gangbusters!

The strange behavior I have noticed is all the bull claves have separated themselves from the herd. :? I only had 1 heifer this year and 20 bulls. The heifer is staying with the cows but even though my pastures are only 6 to 8 acres each, since the rains have come back the bull calves seem to move in mass and I feel they are weaning themselves.

I have never seen anything like this before - - - everyone seems to be getting along just fine but it seems very strange to me! :???:

The bull is still with the cows but I have not seen him try to run them off, it just seems like they just keep their distance and I have not seen any nursing in about 2 weeks.

I don't know if the grass has anything to do with it but something is different!

Let's blame it on el nino. El nino is why I didn't get the dishes done last night. :D

That is something that they are doing that.
