Sunday Afternoon Drive

Since today was such a beautiful day we went for a drive out to Fort Niobrara and Smith Falls...the tallest falls in Nebraska...This is the best time of year to visit..NO PEOPLE! So peaceful and nothing but nature surrounding us...quite a few pics...Hope ya'll had a good day too!

Great pictures....Dogs looked like they are havin a good time....I dont think you would be taking pics here today tho it is 14 below f.. wind chill factor is about 30 below f..
 
Falls on the Creek........almost looks like several rifles left leanin against the creek bank covered in snow.

All the photos are great, but love the one of Jazzy and Jade. They really look like they enjoyed the day off.

Thanks for the tour. Wow did that bring back memories of our trip last summer. The Mrs really thought the falls looked really cool with the ice on them.. Kind of wild to sit here and think if I would look around a bit I might be able to post what some of that looks like in the middle of summer... Dang that water wasn't overly warm in the middle of the summer I can't imagine how cold it is now....... :shock: Thanks again... 8)
 
That ol boy in the shower looks like he's froze stiff! :D , And why wouldn't he be? I'm not at all suprised to see the bull with his horns, but it does seem a bit early for the buff calf, doesn't it? Looks like you had a nice day, thanks for sharing.
