A hail storm just passed through this afternoon.

The countryside looks like it would after an April snowstorm.

Got about nine tenths of an inch of rain with the deal, which all told only lasted about fifteen minutes.

A rivulet runs through it.

The wind wasn't too bad while the storm was happening, so hopefully not too much damage was doen. Oh well, we had an enjoyable ten days with just enough rain to remedy the severe drought situation, before this hail storm came along. Many a slip between the cup and the lip. All we can do is pull the cinch tight and ride it out.

When that ol moisture falls from heaven it's tough to turn it down regardless of its form! Hope ya didnt have much damage from it although hail can be "hail" on things! Like barley and car hoods and my wifes flower garden

Its that weird first week of June weather-- branded one bunch of calves yesterday- moved to the other pasture today-- but last night a storm blew in- a little hail, wind, lightning, rain--- dropped a 1/2 inch of rain at the north corrals- corrals a little soft- but when I was gathering cows this morning about 2 miles east- I think there was over an inch- all the coulees were running water- and water in every hole :D .....

Neighbor about 5 miles east had their haystacks hit by lightning and burned to the ground :(

They are predicting 50% chance of the same tonite........

We just got 1.60 out of both blasts, and a little hail - it went South of us.

We ended up with 1.5" total, plus the hail. At least the second blast of rain helped melt some of the hail. There is still quite a bit lying around on the ground.
