So where did I miss the purchase of the black horse?
Will you tell it again, if you already told it once?

The gray looks like he is working out well for Peach.

I like that new bull and the cows and grass look good.
Thanks for taking us along.

You both have big ears too. Not really. Things are looking good Soapweed. My neighbor lost his pole building the other day too. We need more rain and less wind I would say. Have a good day.

Just curious why the bull is branded on the left ribs while the cows and calves are on the left hip?

The bull already has a left hip brand. I left an electric branding iron with the folks I bought the bulls from. When the bulls were fertility checkedl, they applied the brand also. This makes it nice so when the bulls get to our place they don't need to be branded. They did put the spearhead a bit lower on the rib than I usually do, so it looks "different" than normal.

We tend to brand home-raised cattle on the left hip, and purchased cattle on the left rib.

That makes sense...beautiful country by the way. All that green grass makes me wonder why we try to graze cattle in Arizona :-) Whenever we get a little rain I remember though.
