Sunset pictures

Well, the weather has been beautiful here for the last couple days. The first blackbird arrived last thursday in a snowstorm...we wondered 'what is he thinking' as he shivered on the bird feeder. Two days later it was sunny and in the low 40's and many of his friends had joined him It's just amazing what animals know. It certainly sounds like spring out now. There are some bare spots starting to show and water running everywhere. Have had beautiful sunsets the last two evenings. Didn't get any pictures last night as I was working on an electric fence.

Wow, they are pretty pictures...thanks for sharing, we have been having beautiful weather also, gotta love a chinook! the snow is really shrinking, but I don't think we'll run out anytime soon.

Thanks for the post. No wonder you went for the camera! Sure is pretty. I hope you are on track for the Spring coming early. It appears you have had some winter moisture. Maybe this will be a better year for you folks.

Beautiful pictures, Nicky. Glad to hear spring has sprung at your place. Here, still a month and a half of winter yet to endure. Real crappy again today, snow and wind.

Nice pictures Nicky, good job! A person only has a short window to do those sundown shots. Those pretty colors change in seconds!
Can't wait for the sounds of the spring birds, the smell of the warm earth as the grass starts sprouting and hopefully creeks running.......
Meanwhile I think OT is sending some more winter our way.

Those pics are simply beautiful, Nicky. We won't see blackbirds until Mar or April, but I love their Brreeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr songs. I swear I smelled lilacs this am going out to do chores...just a slight hint of the smell, sw thought I was imagining things. Maybe I was, I want spring to get here! ASAP!!!!
