No,I went and got me a post hole digger for my skidsteer,got tired of wearing out diggers in this rock,so no problem diggin post holes now,no fire needed either ..............warm and sunny in the seventies,but dry as a empty water bucket.

Using the augers, anywhere from 4' to 6' deep....and we were pulling up wet soppy clay at that depth, even on the hillsides.
