Albuquerque, NM. barrel racer Sydni Blanchard guides her horse through the course posting a time of 17.21 seconds to claim the top spot during the Calgary Stampede Barrel Racing Championship final on July 17, 2011. She took home the cheque for $100,000 in the event.

FH, Sydni won 4 consecutive go-rounds, before winning the Championship, never been done before. Not bad for a "rookie".

Her story of being injured a bit ago, makes it all the more interesting.

Not sure but I'd guess yes by the way she told the story ... I was kinda chuckling because poor ol'Dad is going to be hearing "I told you" :lol: :cowboy:
