Van Dyke...."We know the cattle were on our place but have no overwhelming proof that they were."

Tam, this should answer your question about, does he have any photos that prove they were on his place.

Van Dyke.... "Swift then told us that all 43 cattle on the load were subject to being condemned. That is a real hit thinking that you lost almost $50,000. They told us that all the carcasses were pulled from the line and were hanging in a seperate cooler until they could account for all of the cattle."

Tam, Mr. Van Dyke, was explaining the chain of events in the order they took place, so that maybe we could understand what was taking place. Everything, we had heard, up until this time was from the media.

Van Dyke.... "In the weeks to follow we started to contact lawyers on where our legal stance was, and also our state representives in D.C. As you know, Senator Tim Johnson became ill, Stephanie Herseth became engaged and I guess John Thune didn't care because neither he our his staff would contact us back. What we did learn from the representative aids is that they couldn't do anything once there was a lawsuit filed."

Tam, I'm sorry that you were offended by my "YES DEAR" comment, it was not directed at you, but to your gender.

So Ben if Van Dykes don't have any proof say pictures to back their story, why should any of us take their word over the evidence that the USDA has which according to Dr. Sam Holland included signed health papers and verified by to countries export papers? :?

Van Dyke came on here to clarify an already confusing story and he brings information in his first post that was never in the news because it was solved when Swift wrote them a check for the first cattle before the story ever broke. Did he clarify in his first post that 36 of those 43 cattle were paid for so the lose was only for the remaining 7? NO It took him 10 more post to clarify that the lose was not for 43 head but only 7. WHY?

The quote you provided was the reason I asked the question. So how could it be the answer?
Van Dykes choose the political way and never filed a lawsuit so why couldn't or didn't Thunes office offer to help them out or at least CALL THEM BACK? :?

So I'm only to be offended by comments that are pointed at me personally but not those pointed at my Gender

Tam, this issue with Van Dyke and Swift (soon to be Smithfield) and the USDA, is along-way from being over! Also, you can be offended by what-ever you like, I told you that I was sorry that you were offended by my comment, if you can't except that, i'm not offended.

Best Regards
Ben Roberts
