HEHE....ya know goin down the list I was amazed at how many of those Texas towns I've been to. And never gave their names a second thought.

Langtry, Texas was named Vinegaroon before it became Langry. It was named after a really ugly bug.

My dad has been to Turkey, Texas........there was a toilet sitting in the intersection there.........but the next day, when he came back through, it was gone. Figured someone lost it on the way to the dump, or something. I think he even has a picture of it! :lol:

My husband is from Indiana, and I always laugh when I hear about the town named "French Lick"

I was actually born in Cut n Shoot, Texas. If ya'll notice, there aren't any hospitals (well, at least there weren't 24 years ago), I was born at home. It is a fact that my husband thought was amazing for quite awhile, and would bring it up in conversation!

I too have been to Bugtussell. My Dad is from Honey Grove, Texas. Then there is Sulphur Springs, Tx. The list brought back mnay memories for me. Thanks for sharing
