I know a guy who designs these things. M. W.
He did one on paper for California. Would be in Oregon.

Take up over 200,000 acres. With 24" nat gas line as backup.

Said it'd take 8 farms this size, just to meet renewable energy mandated by California by what ever yr we were talking about.

Said it would take equivalent of every acre owned by govt in u.s. to meet all u.s. energy requirements from wind.

Said it's bull and he hopes to retire quite well off from it.
