You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in Texas have been forced to take down small posters that say "IN GOD WE TRUST "

The law, they say, is being violated.

Anyway, I heard it proposed on a radio station show, that we all write "IN GOD WE 'TRUST " on the back of all our mail. After all, that is our national motto, and it's on all the money we use to buy those stamps. I think it's a wonderful idea.

We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything that offends them should be removed.

If you like this idea, please pass it on and DO IT The idea of writing or stamping "IN GOD WE TRUST" on our envelopes sounds good to me. I'M GOING TO START WRITING IT.

It has been reported that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having "In God We Trust"on our money and having God in the pledge of Allegiance.

Could it be that WE just need to take action and tell the 14% to "sit down and shut up"?

If you agree, pass this on, if not delete

isn't it amazing how in a country of "democracy", a MINORITY can rule how and when and such the MAJORITY lives, works, breathes....etc!!! i saddens me to see children in trouble in school for reading Huckleberry Finn, To Kill a Mockingbird or for silently praying before they eat their lunch!! :(

Ranchwife,

My daughter is in band, and because of Jehovas Witness they can't play a number of songs during Christmas. WHY? He's the best trumpet player in the band......  :( :!:

have you noticed that "christmas break" is now "winter break" and how the old "christmas pageant" is now the "holiday pageant"??!! they are no longer "allowed" to say "merry christmas" on television....it must be "happy holidays", yet they can still wish you Happy Hanukkah or Happy Kwanza.....i just don't get it...i still proudly tell people on the streets "Merry Christmas" and i still say "god bless" you when someone sneezes....i actually had an athiest (of which i was not aware of at this time) tell me to "shove it" when i said "God bless you" after he sneezed!!! Damn me for not being "politically correct"

Our grandkids in public school had a December program. All of the children sang Silent Night because they also sang a Kwanza song and a Jewish song. Seems to me that is a fair solution in this mixed country.

Suppression of one faith isn't. And denying the historical Christian heritage in our country's history isn't even truthful. Trying to wipe clean all the national monuments etc of Christian influence reminds me of the Egyption pharoahs who would often erase the name and accomplishments of the previous Pharoah from monuments.
