It's the short nights that precede them that hurt. :cowboy:

Friend called late yesterday and needed a load of grassers hauled to pasture. My son is busy graveling roads so i volunteered to haul the load. Up early did the chores pulled a calf and tried to get a tire back on the bead.

Stopped at the tire shop and got them to seat the tire, fueled up in the next town and got loaded up. poor roads and poorer roads also make for a long day and approaches that were built for a team and wagon but i was pulling a 53ft tridem with a long nose Pete.
Hope the hfrs let me sleep all night. :D

What did you do in your spare time? :D
A generous squirt of either and a match may have eliminated the need to visit the tire shop

I've wrapped a chain around the center of the circumference of the tire and pulled it tight with a load binder to force the bead out onto the rim.

Or a ratchet strap.

The ether from NAPA still explodes. It spooks me too much to use it so I bought one of those bead seating tanks. They work pretty good.

We have a bead blaster tank, it was at the sons place 20 miles in the wrong direction/ :D

I had to drive right in front of the tire shop and it took them only a couple minutes to put the tire on and air it up. Think we need to order some tires as one axle the tires are kind of rough. Then at least we would have some spares as those Lo w profile tires are hard to find around here.

Has anybody put 11R 22.5 on in place of 295/75R 22.5's?

This is on a Wilson Silver Star? Not sure if there is room. :?

The low profile tires are about 1 3/4 inches smaller diameter than the 11r22.5. The low pro tires are about 4 lbs. lighter and have less rolling resistance as well, so you will give up a little fuel efficiency.

It I were closer, I have a set of 8 295/75R22.5 virgin cases that came off the drivers of my KW.
