This is Carter's last match at districts for third and fourth place. He drew the Esay kid again and lost so was wrestling back. He did take Essay down.

Late in first quarter and time running out.

Second quarter. Carter elects to go on the bottom. He is not vary good sometimes on the bottom. Go Carter and get outta there!

He does get up to his feet and is trying to get his hands untied.

Carter trying to shuck the kid off.......

Ref restarts the match after a potentially dangerouse tie-up. Come on Carter move!!!!!!!

Carter needs to get his head out and the kid is trying to break Carter down onto his side or better his back....

Back to middle and Gothenburg trying to break carter down to the mat.

Gothenburg trying to roll Carter over for back points. Be tough little buddy!

Carter fighting to get up and get a point for an excape.

Third period. Carter is on top and this is heartbreak period......

Getting him gathered up... Go Carter time is running out!!!!!!

Throwing the kid back onto his back with a cradle.

Congrats Carter, it is so awesome to see a young man work hard for his goals. I will be rooting for you next year.
A side note, wishing you success. The battles along the way where you get your scars and learn. Whether you make it to the top, you will still be the pride and joy of your folks. Some of the nicest kids never make it to the top of the podium and some who make it to the top are not the nicest kids. Your character takes you to the top, not a medal. Enjoy the ride and we will be here rooting for you next year. You are already a winner in our book.

Thanks everyone! Tonight Carter is making cheesecake in a 9x13 pan. And no more 6 pack abs...... I had to giggle last night as he was stretched out on the sofa, full as a tick and had a pouch of a tummy..... Also getting healed up from mat burns and that pesky sore ankle... This is FFA week so has a full plate of activities too...
