The rock piles......sure brought back alot of memories. We usta take off and go down to Ft. Davis, and take the Scenic Loop (75 miles) and there is a place that's called, "The Rock Pile"...it's huge....big trees surrounding it, and there were pic nic tables where you could sit and eat after a climb up the rocks. I remember thinkin that, when standin at the bottom...lookin up at my brothers and dad while they were climbin, they looked like ants.

Tap you sure live in a neat part of the world, thanks for sharin the photos.

Boy did your camera sure capture the blue sky...I'm just gonna haft to pay more attention to landscape next time we get up in that area, I'd like to see it in real life. Thanks

I just love your land,thank-you for always sharing it with us :)

I like this country pretty well most of the time Mrs. Greg. Of course a good photographer only shows you what he or she wants you to see. :-) Thanks for the nice words.

Jassy, take a tour sometime. You probably would think this is the most desolate country within 500 miles of you though. :-)

30-35 acres year round would be a good average, but management has lots to do with it. And also the widespread drought that we have been in this decade. It has taken a toll on everyone here.

How about your area Haymaker? What is a good average down there?

Disregarding this drought,16 acres to the pair is the norm for the TX Hill country,................good luck
