The "Hostile Native" and I finished up moving pairs a little earlier than expected today so we took a road trip the Horse Expo in Douglas. Its not a very big show yet, but I think it will grow. The "Stud Alley" was pretty impressive. Quite a few nice studs. There just weren't many that we were interested in. I like a little different type of horses than what was represented. A 14 hand cutter reiner just won't work for our outfit and the appys sure as heck won't work. We did see some well bred horses though and the "Hostile Native" did come across a nice paint. I'm trying to go in a different direction though. Maybe we'll have something to take and show off next year. It was a nice time though and a good diversion from all the work here.
