Three Tragedies In The Rodeo Family

Nelson Tsosie the Indian World Champion Bareback rider died in a 100 foot fall from a mesa and two New Mexico High School Sr's Michael Hillman and Jesse Andrus died of carbon monoxide poisoning in their camper shell on the way home from a rodeo. What a tough way for three young guys to lose their lives. I imagine Ty rode against Michael in Farmington last year-sad sad days for their families.

OH, tragic to lose some one, especially someone so young.

We had a similar happening years ago...mother and daughter at
a rodeo, turned on a generator inside a horse trailer and when
someone went to check on them the next morning they both were
dead.

So sorry to hear this, NR. We'll be praying for the families.

OH that is so sad Michael Hillman's parents are some of my very good friends from college. They are from Idaho, moved to N.M. after the kids were born. My heart goes out to them. and the other parents.

Michael had just got his PRCA permit and won the saddle bronc at Cave Creek, Arizona.
