Big Muddy might be able to take off his "woolys" here in a day or two- weather boys are predicting near 90 degree temps for a couple of days up here.....

No wind this morning so I spent my morning doing one of my most dreaded jobs- handspraying patches of spurge along the edge of the hayfields and spraying around the buildings- I hate weeds in the yard...Me and spray don't like each other, and the concoction I brewed up last year made me pretty sick- altho it really worked because most of the areas around the buildings are bare as a billiard ball...

At least this year I followed the directions a little closer and haven't got any ill effects yet.....

Beautiful day today+ 80 in the shade :D Threw a roast beef on the barbacue, did some weeding in flower bed, walked down to north pasture to see if we had a foal yet{nope}Man I love these kind of days, going to mow the dandilions now :lol:Swear to god they duck thier heads as you drive over them :?

Mrs. Greg, dandelions seem to be a real big problem here this year. They are everywhere! I can't remember when I've seen so many.

Beautiful weather here, too. Husband was spraying today till a bit of a breeze came up. He quit because he doesn't want to smoke the neighbour's peas that are poking through the ground already. Now he has to wait till a shift in the wind or it becomes dead calm. Maybe later this evening. Oh well, lots of other jobs to do, like getting the drill switched over to seed wheat. Will be starting seeding tomorrow again after a couple of days break, which he spent spraying.

I have thought about getting the woolies back out - - - highs in the 40s and 50s It is supposed to be in the 70s this time of year. We have had an inch or more of rain every day for the last 6 days.

Corn that is planted is looking good - - - I don't know how but I guess we have had enough heat to bring it on.

I keep watching the people at the Indy 500 on the news and can not figure why thousands of people would pay to sit in the cold rain on the off chance a car might start going around in circles
