I was sorta hoping we'd get a dump like that first!

Well we're sending it over the rocks to ya!... at least thats what the weather network says anyway. I'm not sure how far over the rocks it will get though.

Well-- You Canucks keep that stuff north until about the middle of February or so...I'm short on hay and want to graze til then.....
And keep it away from that Mrs. Greg- Her and Shelley always leave the door open so it can come our way...

Are you crazy?

Well you can have it and keep it in Northern AB.I still have tons of pasture left for mine to eat so the snow can stay away for at least another month or two.

1-2 cm in the forecast tonight I hope it misses us.

Jigger feel free to keep it on that side. It was a beautiful day today, didn't need anything more than a sweater, and I like it that way!

HOLY SMOKES

Ohhh...I'd could NOT deal with that....no way...no how!!!!!!! ( She says from the sunny but dry South with temps in the 70's still)

That stuff can stay away a few more months as far as I am concerned.. I'll be about ready for it mid January if we haven't gotten one by than.. Thanksgiving is about as early as I can remember getting significant snow here.

Dang...I'm gonna need new tires before coming up there, LOL,

PPRM

You're gonna need good snow tires and a 4X4 truck with a plow, and don't forget a set of chains.
Lakes District Maintenance's motto is... The good lord put it there the good lord can take it away.

At least it isn't the same amount we got on our first snow last year.
We got 4 feet on our first snowfall last year on Oct 26 or 27th and it didn't go away. That was one looong winter with overall snowfall amounts of over 10 feet.

and i just got through baling my last little field of hay tonight.

G3

We never did get the rest of our baling done. Still have swaths laying. We just got finished fencing it 2 days ago and put the horses out on it yesterday. They have lots to eat out there for awhile as long as we don't get a whole bunch more snow or ice.

Well Red Deer got it around 4:30 this morning, maybe 2cm.High of 1 today and supposed to get to minus 12 tonight with the wind minus 20.BRRRRRRRRR :???:

OT I should warn you that I left the door open, sorry.

We had to change or clocks again also,I hate it getting dark at 5:30. :(

I didn't need to hear that..... You guys need to keep those doors closed for awhile    :P
I just checked the radar- and see its snowing right along the border....I've got cows about 20 miles south of that, so hope it doesn't amount to much--just a little moisture to make the crested wheatgrass a little more palatable :) ....
Temp is dropping- down to 35-- high tomorrow is supposed to be only around 30...We have to work out a bunch of calves tomorrow- but at least it isn't the place we worked today, that has a hill so bad that you need to trailer them out with a 4X4 or have a 4X4 tractor pull the trucks up the hill if you get any snow on it....

And tommorrow they're only predicting as Breezy-- which means only 25-35 mph winds...

Well I for one like the short days you can be done early and spend some time with the kids after school otherwise I work until dark or after than I have to drive home from where ever.I have'nt been getting home until 8 and the kids sure notice. No matter how much daylight there is I try to use it all.I don't fix my tractor lights or I might never come home.Short day's make it easy to be lazy..

Talk about that cold Canuck weather-- it was moving down today....Sunny-- but the highest I saw was 35 with 35mph winds out of the NW...Earflap and long john weather for sure....First really snotty nose day I've had this year-- and had to keep sticking my pen in my shirt pocket to keep it from freezing up between writing tallies.... :(
