Jody's Screw up of the day. Changing out the thermostat on the Cummings in the swather, the alternator bracket on top of the thermostat housing . when putting everything back together the hot wire going to the alternator sparked . I unhooked the ground cable on the batter and then tighten everything back up. hooked the ground back up and started the swather, threw the tool box on the seat to keep the motor running and went around to check for leaks...... the spark must of been in the middle of the oil filter, yup a small mess and a good time to change the oil and get a new filter.
