Died from cancer at age 54. He Believed to be started from chewing.
What a great hitter! I know I'm not that old but he's the best I ever watched. Saw a clip about him today. The rate in which he swung and missed a ball is just crazy. Only struck out 435 or so times in 20 years. Some guys do that in a little over 2 years now. Great smile great personality. Sad
