Took the wife for a little road trip Wednesday a few hindered miles down into Utah for a Ram sale. The Utah Ram sale had a social and dinner the night before the sale it was all Dutch oven cooked except a for a green salad. They started out with a very small bar  , and lamb ribs that had been cooked in BBQ sauce for appetizers. The main course was green salad, Dutch oven roast lamb, potatoes, beans, and sour dough biscuits (that were out of this world). Dessert was Dutch oven cooked cakes, raspberry cake, carrot cake or pudding chocolate cake.
We didn't buy anything as any black face Ram has to be gene tested before coming back to Wyoming and has to be RR or QR , some rams had been tested but I didn't need pen of 5 black faced ones. We bought some from a breeder who was at the sale that his home place is Spanish Fork but their summer range is 60 miles west of me at Soda Spring Idaho.
I went 40 miles south to Colkville yesterday afternoon and pick up some black face and Columbia ram lambs with all the correct paper work….
