He was a partner in Pieper Red Angus with his parents and brother, Tate Pieper.

It looks like they had a good bull sale

I would imagine that Dan Leo who owns Cattle Mail is a friend of the Piepers thus the email. Nice of Dan. I don't know Travis but they are well thought of in the industry. It's a shame to see a family without a daddy.

I knew Travis well. He and his family own Pieper Red Angus in NE. He was a true cowman and knew how to and did make outstanding Red Angus bulls and females. He has won nearly every show in the breed and their bull sale has been the best now for the last few years. He has 2 young sons and a wife. He will be missed.

This was taken at the Denver Stock Show. It's sad anytime someone so young loses their life, but even more so when young children lose a parent.

It's accidents like these that help remind me of the value of the local emt's that are volunteers.

First of all if you knew my husband you would know that he is not little. He was 240 & 6' and I know you have a right to your own opinion, but I happen to think he was one of a kind. He spoke his mind and was the smartest man I have ever known. Travis has taught me everything I know about cattle and how to be strong in life. He may not have been liked by everyone, but to make it in this world you will not be. My boys and I truly miss him every minute of our lives and hope that everyone knows that he did the best he could for us. I love him and may he rest in peace. - Jessamyn Pieper

Mrs. Pieper

I'm sorry there is some mix up in the posts- my fault... but Work Hard Study Hard- who is a "dink"- put some nasty comments in a couple of posts about your late husband -Which Yanuck and some others were responding to him about (that post of Yanucks is directed at Work Hard Study Hard)-- which when I found those posts the next morning I didn't think they belonged here- and as a monitor for Macon I edited the whole posts off- so it makes things a little confusing....

Sorry for the confusion- I should have edited and explained- but his comments made me so mad I just blipped them completely off...

Anyway Mam- my condolences to you and your family- I'm sure anyone that could raise as good of cattle as your husband had to be a good man....

Thanks FH and OT,

Jessamyn, my message was totally not directed at you or your husband, it was for someone else on here that needs a good crotch kicking!
Welcome to the boards and so sorry for your loss.... Yanuck

Don't be a stranger...Come back and visit us and keep us informed on how your doing...Awful lot of good, caring folks on this site- that after awhile kind of grow on you like a family...Only a couple of idiots show up once in awhile- and they usually get weeded out pretty fast...
