Trioliet 2000 Solomix Vertical Mixer

Help Support Ranchers.net:

I've got a Supreme vertical mixer, but have seen the Trioliet advertised.

There are about 4 brands making vertical mixers now.

They mix well, have fewer moving parts, but have some drawbacks. They are very heavy. The recutter attachment on the back of mine is worthless, but is a $7000 option.

I use mine to mix a bale of greenfeed with either straw or alfalfa, I bought a few silage bales this year and have done 4 so far. It handles them well.

Fill it too full and it spits it over the sides.

try this web site it looks like it may answer alot of questions. I have a Farm Aid Mixer wagon I really like it they are made in carson SD. Have had it now for 2 seasons and not problems with it I run about 300 ton of feed thru it every year. A 50 horse tractor is plenty big enough to run it
