Troubles... venting again...

Ranchwife, my hat's off to you and your daughter. You both did good and if ACS ever doubts anything he just needs to look at you for inspiration.
There is one person in my daughters life that was bad to her and one of these day when I see them I am going to thank them for teaching her some valuable lessons...............made her a stronger person. I can't wait to see the expression on their face

Our daughter also had alot of problams with mostly the girls in her school...one of two girls that wore wranglers and worked cows. The girls got REAL nasty, but like PT said in the end it was a lesson, she was very shy and didn't stick up for herself, she took alot, now as a welder, works with men and handles them well because of her problams at school...she also says she likes working with men and will never work with women again.

ACS-

I am still fairly new to this site, but I have been here long enough to see very clearly see that you are a very mature, motivated, and hard working young man. I don't know you, but I am sure dang proud of you! :)

Kids can be so mean, it is really quite sad. I am a school teacher and have seen how the bullies play their games and it is wrong... it is my personal mission to straighten up any that I run across in my small school. Unfortunatly, in bigger schools they run together and can turn into a huge problem. I truly feel for you, as I know first hand what it is like to be teased and bullied. There is nothing wrong with your appearance and don't ever believe anything they say about your family!

There was a ton of good advice on here for you from all your friends & "family"! If you respond to their crap (for lack of better word) they will just keep it up.. that is what they want; they want a negative reaction from you. I know it is hard to ignore them in person and on the computer... but try to.

You are going to be such a better person in the end then they are! You are going to go far, young man, and never for one second doubt that about yourself!

Take care! :)

Mrs greg, I showed the picture of your daughter to my rancher daughter and asked what she thought she did for a living. She said vet and when I told her welder she said WOW. Kinda funny cause my girl was horse crazy in a town school so knows about hazing.

ACS, MTGirl gives a great perspective because teachers see it all. This crap will only last a short while, and the nice girls can't stand bullies.

If you must go nuclear, tell one of them you wouldda been his Daddy but your dog beat you over the fence. or give one of them $2 and ask him to give it to his momma for you. Don't go raunchy in front of the girls, but say it loud say it proud in the locker room. If they dog you out infront of ladies, act all introspective like James Dean - they can't help but nurture.

I tell my kids that nobody puts their hands on them, ever - mostly for my daughters' sake - but my son also. If boys are just playing like giving tittytwisters or frogs - that is just how they play. You gotta be the judge between horse play and bullying.

Your going to run into that sort of thing your whole life-you can deal with it whichever way you chose-it's up to you to chose a way that works. I'd find awayy to make playing football work-amazing how tearing a guy up on the field will silence the railbirds. Pus you'll have a team behind you wherever you go the rest of your life-I still run into guys I played hockey with thirty years ago down south. Brad is right -boys play rough-that's our nature.

Im pretty sure that a few solid hits to the head a day isnt just horseplaying. lol.

Someone on the hockey team found out about this... I got another 30 guys behind me now... and most of us have took it pretty hard before. lol.

Last year I got them to come and watch one of my games... since its rec most of the time we dont use many rules sides no suckerpunching and all that stuff, but after they were finished playibng with us (pay 7 bucks abnd you can play) at the end of the game, I ran all 6 of em over... literally. lol. In the locker room they tried to counter it... hanging me on the hangers, and needless to say they got a woopin... it's good to have people you can count on, even if they arent your best friends and you dont really get along well, ya know you got eachother's back.

Have a good one

Nothing like a 'rec hockey enforcer' lol. Get on the bike and go try out for AA you might just make it. Ty skipped AAA this year I couldn't pry him away from his bull rope and treestands but I didn't lose my cowboy either. We've all got a lickin' or three in our lives too-if it doesn't kill you just makes you tougher.

lol. We call ourselves get ready for it.... The Humboldt S.r. Rec Team. lol.

I think that there is a chance that I could make it but the biggest factor right now is the money... since the split, there hasn't been much loose change, but I have a bull to sell, and if I can get a godo price, I can pay for myself to go through hockey this year... they were asking me to play for the A team when their goalie got shipped to the Battlefords... Tryouts are in late october I think... I gtot the equipment but the travveling expenses will be the big factor... Too bad, but hey, it might work out, and Ill have to teach you meadowlakeians how to play some real hockey. lol.

Have a good one

Signup is 500 and it all depends which tournaments they decde to go to... they went to Kelowna last year... sucked really bad but they got there. lol. NR woudkl have a better idea than I would.

Thanks, and have a good one

So, how do we know where to send you some money to help you with getting on the team? Wonder how we can do this so you don't post your address all over the web.

I'm serious. I bet there are several of us who would help you out.
What do you say? Do you want us to, if we can figure out how to do it?

Maybe someone, Mrs. Greg? has her email address on the bottom of the box and we can privately email her for your mailing address?

That way you could just give her your address. I think that would work!

Can't spend it on guns, tho!!!!!!!!!
