We started calving cows six day earlier this year, as we ran out of hay last spring for the bulls, We turned out a good year to have done that. Heifers still started 15 of march a the few early in 24 days and 75% have calved. Cows had a few earlies but at 15 date from Calander gestation table start we are at 74% calved out at 15 days..... That green grass last spring and breeding tubs must have really flushed those cows.

Sounds like running short on hay turned into a blessing in disguise! Good for you. Hope the weather holds and you keep the losses light through the tail end. Feel free to post an update when you're wrapped up. Curious to see where your final percentage lands!
