Neat pictures, Soapweed.
Did a bird actually drop that snake there or did you mean Peaches?? You must have some pretty good sized birds.

A bird actually did hang that snake on the fence. The bird must have wanted it to rain. It must have been a bird of "pray" because their appeal was answered. We got a nice rain of six tenths of an inch during the night. Yipee! :!: :-)

six tenths isn't anything to sneeze at. Here's hoping you have a good summer with plentiful rain. With snakes around like that no wonder your cats are preferring fence posts.
Kosmo is looking non the worse for college I see.

Do you drive a colt first? Maybe that is just extra hassle when you are Kosmo's age. I'll tell one on myself when I was young and single. I had hired on a place at Saratoga, Wyo. I had chosen a good looking bay horse for my string that "might pitch." He should have said "will buck hard and often." When I went to get on him, I began to suspect something when the whole bunkhouse turned out for the show. I screwed down pretty tight and he did come unglued. I rode him till he stopped bucking, and was running around the pen in circles. I must have had a look of satisfaction about like Kosmo does in "Happily still on top. Well ol bronc just stops & turns, and I wasn't still happily still on top. I was splattered in the dirt. Ol' forman laughs, and says at least he didn't buck you off--You just fell off. I kept that horse about 6 months. He bucked hard and often and when you least suspected it, till it just wasn't fun any more. I usually rode him, but figured he would eventually hurt me, so I traded him for one that wasn't as pretty, but more trustworthy.

Neat colt pictures :D . You'll have to keep us updated on his progress. My last "colt" is six this year, and has turned into a pretty solid ranch horse. I hope I can afford a finished, older horse next time I'm in the market... not another colt. :D.

Looks like you had a productive day...I've seen a couple baby antelope and a set of twin fawns so far...I would appreciate it though if the birds would leave their meals on a fence post further up than at the gate..lol We didn't get a drop last nite, but got maybe 10 drops this evening...seems to be going around us.
