It's a wonder we get any work done around here.

Are being clowns and trick riders a prerequisite to work at your outfit? Those are understanding horses for sure. Hat suits Brady's mount.

lol...fun times in the sunshine today! Wish all calving season was like today...everyone is in a much better mood on days like today...everything looks good up in your neck of the hills...thanks

I think Rena is starting to dress for the camera  . Come on, wearing white for calving duty??? Five minutes after leaving the house in the morning, I'm usually covered in cow sh**, blood, placenta, sticky yellow calf manure... Maybe she needs to share her fashion tips with us other calving girls on how to look so presentable throughout the day! I know I could use the help and advice  .

Looks like you all had some fun today. Once again, I love the forelock shots :D

I dont see anything wrong with the way Rena is dressed............looks ta me like those wranglers are fittin her pretty good :D
good luck

thanks for the pictures Soapweed. Sure looks nice up there today. 82 F here today, way too warm for this time. Heard today that last time it was this dry on record was 1897. Kicked some cattle out of horse pasture today. They were brushed up tight by 11 am.

It got up to 69 degrees here today, though it was a bit windy. The baby calves frolicked and enjoyed the mild temperatures, also.

What is the material used on the windbreak? It looks new and shiny.

Probably best if it doesn;t get too warm. It's a good thing the pic of Rena is not a close up. Any closer and you'll get all us single guys distracted and we'll miss all the good cattle you've been showing us. Of course, all the married men will be looking at the cattle  :!:
