She's definitely gone, there's no sense letting a cow do it three times in a row.

The only reason I am grafting on a calf is to try and get some extra value out of her. She'll get to stay around until spring or summer mostly because of the market conditions this time of year and being able to graze crop residue is cheap.

I love bussing first calf heifers because they are still valuable and most of their feed expense is growth. I hate wacking a second calf heifer because you're gonna get paid for a cow.
