Ty Murray On Dancing with Stars

While i am aware that i will open myself up for ridicule and snide comments, I am confident enough in my masculinity to tell ya'll my wife and I watched Dancing with the Stars tonight! Ty did alright but he sure was nervous! Ya'll need to log on to abc.com and vote for him and we'll get to see if he gets any better. He is sure gutsy to go on a show like that which is pretty far from his comfort zone! I am sure with all the twinkle-toed Canadians, Ballet trained Texans, cha-cha-cha-ing Nebraska-ites and jitterbugging Californians around this site some of ya'll watched too! So who do ya think would win a dance contest around Ranchers? My money is on Yanuck!

Didn't watch it-but did hear them talking about it last night on PBR...Ty was supposed to be on with his girlfriend- Jewel- but she got hurt, so they had to find him a subsitute ...They held a contest last week to see who could dance better than Ty or Jewel...
Hands down- Flint Rasmussen won-danced them all into the ground- altho that Leah Garcia can shake her booty pretty darn nice :wink:

I watched and I was even a first time voter on the show. I thought he did alright, he said he was really nervous. I doubt I'd win any contests but I do love to dance!!

Why would any man be ashamed or embarrassed to watch Dancing with the Stars. The way them gals dress it is amazing, plus the way they shake, and the way they smile..... Well I think I made my point I have been a fan for years. Yea Ty needs some work. He told a friend of mine that was the hardest work he has ever done.

My wife likes to watch Dancing With the Stars. I don't complain, just thankful that the Bachelor is over.....really hate that show.

I LOve Dancing with the stars! Poor ole Ty he was scared and so so stiff in his dancing. I give him credit for trying and who knows what other rodeo people might be inticed to join the ranks through his first bold move. I myself think Flint would be an awesome! He not only has moves but keeps the moves in rhythm of the music.

My favorites of the night were Gills or something they kept bringing up him being naked but I have no idea what he was in? I also thought Mellissa from the Bachlor did a great job in only having 48 hours to practice. The 17 year old gymnist I also thought did a good job.

Will be fun to see if the PBR fans can keep Ty alive on the show.
