It seems like (litterally) ages since I was here, and have gotten so far behind I don't think I'll ever catch up again. lol
We went to Albuquerque again last Thursday, to meet with the neurosurgeon who did Hubby's biopsy. He is such a sweet guy, and I like him immensely. He did confirm that the biopsy showed a benign menengioma (I think that's how it's spelled) that should react well to radiation. He doesn't think radiation will shrink it, or make it go away, but it will slow the growth down, and give Hubby another 20-50 years.
We will go up again and meet with the radiation docs on 8-3. Hopefully, we can talk them into letting him go to Silver City (so much closer, and I have family there we could most likely stay with while he's getting it done). They're thinking it will be about 6 weeks worth, either every day, or every other day. We'll find out for sure, when we get there, I guess.
Al has done a great job, holding the fort and trying to keep the many cattle that want to paint the town, out where they're supposed to be. Guess all these town folks don't realize that NM state law states that if you don't want livestock on your private property, then you have to adequately fence them out. Everyone wants us to go fix their fences, to keep the cows out...... It's just not our responsibility!
I have a bunch of pics that I'm getting uploaded to photobucket, so will be back with those as time allows. I'm trying to get a couple of week's worth of laundry done before it rains......then have to go get some feed........and try to muck out this pigpen we're living in. So........see ya soon!
