I posted a pic of a new lil bull calf yesterday, today on my pasture ride, I wanted to make sure he was gittin along ok, he was havin a time findin his first dinner yesterday. I thought he was black, guess he just looked real black cuz he was still wet.
He's kinda silver lookin. That's cuz his mama is a Braunveih. Kinda neat color tho.
I do bleave this was the easiest tag I've ever put in, while taggin in the pasture. Mama was nearby, I drove up, and killed the truck, sat there a few minutes watchin him, he decided to lay down, so I loaded the tag in the pliers, and kept an eye on mom. Walked up easy like, squatted with one knee on his shoulder, and tagged him. He never made a peep, I checked again to see what mom was doin....she was turned lookin back at me.......and as I got up, she just went right back to eatin grass. THAT'S how I'd like all of em to go.
Looks like after the rains we've had there's some new trees that have gone down in the creek.......next winters firewood.

I sure would like to make a rug outta her hide!!!!
