I predict you will have a very interesting/exciting life for the next 20 years--and from the looks on that Bodis face you aren't going to have a peaceful minute...

I had no ideas you was such a young dog!

Good lookin' family you got there.

If that bodog gets to botherin' you too much, just send him on down. He looks like he could be a lott'a fun, if you can keep up with him!

Yessir, I've not yet felt the sting of my 30th birthday. But Lordy, I know it's a'comin' with a vengeance. After all the pranks and surprises I've pulled on friends and family, especially the wife, my days are numbered.

As for Bodi, keepin' up are the keywords there JB. Give you an idea of the difference between him and his brother, Ronan will be the kid hauling pail after pail of chop and dumping through the rails for the calves, Bodi's the one ignoring his Poppa's bellers and crawling through the rails to go after the calves. Grey hair, here we come!

Nice looking family, Pure Country. Did you name your son, Bodi, after Bodacious the Bull? Looks like he and the bull's offspring might challenge each other in the future.

Actually Soapweed, I wanted to name him Bowden, but there's a federal pennitentiary south of here in a town called Bowden, so the wife frowned on it - Women!  :P She always liked Cody, but I said NO, because every 2nd little cowboy from here to Christmas has been named Cody, so we ended up combining the two, and came up with Body. Then at Easter supper, which was a month before he came into the world, my wife's Grandma piped up and said "You can't spell it with a Y!" So we switched it to Bodi.

If he ends up a bullrider, the bulls will have to watch out. He's gonna be a big boy. BullDOGGER, maybe. Of course then we'd have to have more horses around here. I'd rather he turned out to be a Holistic Management Instructor, or a Soil Scientist, but of course, as long as he's healthy, we'll support him in everything and anything.

Yes Ma'am, my wife is a saint. I had the boys with me all evening hauling the last of our heifers out to pasture, and she has baby Emily with her in town as we speak, sitting in her office trying to finish up the payroll for the trucking outfit she works for. Her office is fully equipped with a swing, a bouncer seat and a good stock of diapers and burp-blankets. She is the glue that holds that place together, and this one alike. Don't wanna imagine where I'd be if I didn't have her.

Goodnight all.
